Dev Blog Post
Hey everyone,
We noticed you haven’t heard from the Unreal team in exactly two weeks, so we wanted to prepare something special for you—after all, you deserve it! Your support is incredible and means so much to us. In the spirit of that, our team has gathered some images and videos to show you what we’ve been working on, along with a little description of everything happening right now.
Dev blog posts aren’t something we’ve done before—maybe once—but if you like them, I can post updates like this regularly. It’s not a problem! Let us know what you think in the comments below. Get ready for an inside look behind the scenes! These images and videos aren’t polished or ready for publishing, but why keep you in the dark? We want to show you what we’re working on and what’s coming next!
The City of Lustridge
First things first, we present to you Lustridge, the city carefully designed to fit our story. Every building is placed where it needs to be—not too big, not too small—ensuring a playable, explorable, and optimized environment so that everyone can enjoy it. Keep in mind this is only the blockout phase; we’ll start replacing the placeholders with final assets once we agree with Lancelot that everything is perfect for our story and future DLC expansions.
We already have ideas for the beach area and for someone you’ll love 😉, but we’ll discuss that later. Right now, our main goal is to deliver a complete Unreal Lust Theory game, and only then will we focus on the extra content you’ll love, need, and ask for.
We started by taking the original Lust Theory map, placing it in top-down view, and designing roads and sections that make sense. The original spirit of the game will live on in this version, and we’re doing our best to bring back everything you loved. If you’ve played LT1 or LT2, you’ll recognize the suburbs where the MC lives, the college, big buildings, stores, etc. One change, though—we’re removing the mall because it’s too big and not really necessary. Instead, we’re repurposing one of the large buildings.
Here’s how it works:
Hall 1: Leads to Elizabeth’s office (a new location that wasn’t in the original game). You’ll finally know where she works, and special scenes will happen there! More story for you!
Hall 2: Leads to Sophie’s shop.
The old mall area will be replaced with a chill downtown featuring coffee shops, etc.
Third & First-Person Character Returns
Another big update—we’re bringing back the Third & First-Person Character in ULT, enhanced with all the new features Epic Games has provided. You can check out the new character on our YouTube channel. The clothing and character model are still in development, and some things don’t meet our expectations yet—so please be patient! We’ll fix everything step by step.
With this character, we’ve already started brainstorming OnlyHard Up minigames, paintball, and more. Feel free to suggest ideas—we always consider them!
Exploration & Story Progress
The entire world will be explorable, with collectibles for those who enjoy that. The story is progressing—Day 1 is 10% done. Don’t hate us! 😆 We’re testing everything, and so far, it looks good. Some issues still need solutions, but with this team, there’s nothing we can’t figure out.
Elizabeth’s Work Outfit
We’re also designing work clothes for Elizabeth, so you’ll finally see her at work! We still need to texture the outfit, but here’s the general idea. Bra and panties are also part of this outfit, so just imagine what you’ll try to do when you visit her at work… 😉
Facial Expressions in Dialogues
One major feature—which many of you warned us was necessary—is facial expressions in dialogues! Here’s a quick video to show you what we’ve got. Every girl now has perfect facial expressions recorded using the Face Capture app on our mobile phone.
Our in-house artist is working on dialogue animations for Day 1, and we’ll give her voice lines and video references to the voice actresses you already know and love. The result? Even better quality later in development!
Final Thoughts
A lot has happened in just two weeks, and this was a quick summary of the most important things we wanted to show you. Please give us more time to develop the perfect adult game.
We’re on the right track, having meetings, good management, and tons of overtime to bring you something special—something that means a lot to us, and hopefully, to you too.
We’ll stick to our plan, but if you see something you’d like changed, now’s the time to suggest it!
Thank you & have a great weekend!
With Love,
ULT Team.
